LilLogs (“we,” “our,” “the app”) is a baby-tracking app for parents to log feeds, sleep, diaper changes, and medicine doses, and to share that log with a partner. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.
Who this is for
LilLogs is intended for use by parents and caregivers (adults) to track information about their own children. It is not directed at children, and children do not create accounts or use the app directly — all data is entered by the adult account holder.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and password. Passwords are never visible to us; authentication is handled by our backend provider, Supabase, using industry-standard hashing.
- Baby profile information — your baby's name, date of birth, feeding preferences, and an optional photo you choose to upload.
- Daily logged activity — feed, sleep, diaper, and medicine entries you or people you invite create, including timestamps and whatever details you enter (amounts, durations, dosages, notes).
- Growth, appointments & notes — optional premium features: growth measurements (weight, length/height, head circumference), appointment records, and notes you or people you invite create.
- Family/invite information — if you invite a partner to share a baby's log, we store the association between accounts and that baby.
- Device preferences — language and light/dark theme, stored as cookies on your device. These aren't linked to any profile we build about you.
- Standard technical data collected by our infrastructure providers as a normal part of running a web service — e.g. request logs and IP addresses, used for things like abuse prevention. We don't use this for advertising or tracking.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't run advertising or ad-tracking of any kind.
- We don't share your data with third parties beyond the service providers listed below, who process it only to help us provide the app.
Who your data is shared with
Within your family — anyone you explicitly invite to a baby (via an invite code) can see and add to that baby's log. You can revoke a family member's access at any time in Settings.
Service providers, none of whom are permitted to use your data for their own purposes — they process it solely to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage (for optional baby photos).
- Vercel — hosts the website/app itself.
- Cloudflare (Turnstile) — provides bot/abuse protection on sign-in, sign-up, and password reset; sees limited technical data (like your IP and browser signals) needed to distinguish humans from bots.
How long we keep data
Feed, sleep, diaper, and medicine entries are automatically and permanently deleted after 8 days — we don't build up an indefinite history there. Growth measurements, appointments, and notes (premium features meant to be a running record, not daily noise) are kept until you delete them. Your account and baby profile information is kept until you delete it.
Your controls
- Edit or delete any log entry at any time from the app.
- Clear all logs for a baby from Settings.
- Remove a family member's access to a baby (if you're the owner) from Settings.
- Delete your account at any time from Settings — this permanently removes your login; if you're the last person with access to a baby, that baby and all its data are deleted too, otherwise the rest of the family keeps their shared history.
- Delete an entire baby profile (owner only) from Settings — removes it for everyone with access.
Notifications (native app only)
The Android app can schedule local reminders for an upcoming feed or medicine dose. These are calculated and scheduled entirely on your device — we don't operate a push-notification server, and enabling notifications doesn't send any additional data to us.
Children's privacy
LilLogs is a tool for adults to track information about their children; it is not a service directed at or used by children themselves. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let account holders know.
